A 21-year-old man is reportedly in stable condition this morning after being shot on Troy Drive shortly after 9 pm Friday night.
Police were called at 9:32 pm and arrived to find a blood trail leading into an apartment, according to a Madison Police incident report. They also found shell casings in an apartment. While they were still at the scene, police received word that the victim had made his way to an emergency room.
Focused Interruption Coalition responder Martin Lackey posted on Facebook that the victim was shot five times.
Police said preliminary findings suggest that this was not a random shooting, and it appears that the victim and suspects are known to each other.
