Green Bay Packers superstar quarterback Aaron Rodgers broke his collarbone against the Minnesota Vikings yesterday and could miss the rest of the season.

Brett Hundley took over after Rodgers was hurt on the second drive of the game and threw three interceptions against Minnesota. Green Bay Packers Head Coach Mike McCarthy said at a press conference Sunday that, “As far as the QB position, Brett Hundley is my quarterback, Joe Callahan is the backup. That’s the direction we’re going.”

But that hasn’t stopped Packer fans from speculating and offering their own suggestions to replace Rodgers including Brett Favre, Tony Romo, Eli Manning, and others.

Tracey Corder, a fan from Oakland, California, who is a former Wisconsinite and a graduate of Edgewood College in Madison, has created a Change.org petition to bring Colin Kaepernick to Green Bay that has over 3,540 signatures so far.

Kaepernick has posted his best single-game passing (412 yards) and rushing (181 yards) performances against the Packers and defeated Green Bay in the 2012 NFC Divisional Playoffs.
