The downtown jazz bar Cafe Coda, which just opened earlier this year, closed last month due to the building being scheduled for demolition.
Cafe Coda owner Hanah Jon Taylor says they moved out of their space at 113 W. Dayton St in The Fountain on August 15.
All of their equipment is currently stored at their new location at 1222 Williamson street, where they are awaiting licensing.
“This is a needed space, so we’re making sure we have a new location,” said Taylor.
The Cafe Coda is intended to reopen in its new home in February.
