The 2015 Wisconsin Badgers football schedule is out as the Badgers get ready for a new season with a new coach.
After the departure of Gary Andersen former Badgers offensive coordinator Paul Chryst was named Wisconsin football coach for the 2015-2016 season. The Badgers defeated Auburn 34-31 in overtime in last year’s 2015 Outback Bowl.
Badger running back Corey Clement was named to the preseason watch list for the Doak Walker Award, which is presented annually to the nation’s top running back. Former UW teammate Melvin Gordon, now a San Diego Charger, won the Doak Walker Award last season while rushing for 2,587 yards and scoring 32 total touchdowns. UW is the only school to produce three different Doak Walker winners: Ron Dayne (1999), Montee Ball (2012) and Gordon (2014).
The Wisconsin Badgers play their home games at Camp Randall Stadium, which has a capacity of more than 80,000, the stadium is the fourth largest in the Big Ten and one of the oldest in the country
