The Dane County NAMI Walk will be held Sunday, Oct. 4. The walk will start at Olin Turnville and go to Monona Terrace and back.

After the walk, Hy-vee will supply lunch. The event is free. A donation is optional. They will have some children activities before and afterwards. This event is to bring awareness to mental illness, to educate and to promote advocacy. Leigh Mills from NBC15 will be at the walk.

Check in is at 10:30 a.m. and the walk will be at noon.
