Milwaukee 53206 will be shown in Predolin Hall at Edgewood College on March 1 at 5p.m.

The documentary, which premiered last June at the 2016 Milwaukee Film Festival, tells the story of Milwaukee residents who have been affected by the high incarceration rates of a zip code located on the city’s north side, where 62 percent of adult men have spent time in prison, making it the most incarcerated zip code in the nation.

The screening will be followed by a Q&A with the film’s director, Keith McWhirter, and Beverly Walker, who is featured in the film.

The screening is free and open to the public and free parking is available. No preregistration is required.
