Harlem Renaissance Museum’s Poetry Slam Season Opener will be held Saturday, Nov. 21, 7 p.m. at Genna’s Lounge, 105 W. Main St.
It’s November and that means two things in Madison prose: 1) that The Harlem Renaissance Museum’s “Urban Spoken Word” poetry slam season is here; and 2) it’s time for the haiku slam.
Join the Harlem Renaissance Museum for the 2015-2016 slam season opener. At 7pm at Genna’s Lounge (105 W. Main Street), hear some of the most witty, snarky, and irreverent sentiments ever crammed into 17 syllables at our Haiku Slam.
After the Haiku Slam, we’re traveling to the museum (1444 East Washington Ave) for an open mic.
