Facilities Administrative Assistant

    The Wisconsin Alumni Research Foundation (WARF) seeks a facilitites administrative assistant to serve as the the gatekeeper and first point of contact for the WARF facilitites team. The facilities admininstrative assistant will support WARF and its affiliates by performing general facilitites and administrative tasks at the Discovery Building, located at 330 North Orchard Street. This position will assist with record keeping, vendor coordination and agreements, work order data entry, and frontline Discovery Building support. In addition, this position will work with a variety of vendors to ensure quality service and cost efficiency. As needed, this individual will also help with administrative tasks such as scheduling meetings, document editing and tracking, and preparing correspondence.


    Candidate Requirements:

    Ideal candidates will possess exceptional customer service, a high level of accuracy, and strong attention to detail. Candidates must demonstrate excellent organizational skills and must be able to multitask and prioritize, communicate effectively with a variety of stakeholders, and work in a collaborative team environment. Prior administrative and customer-facing experience is required. Facilitites and/or property management knowledge or experience is preferred. The ideal work schedule for this position is Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., including an hour lunch break.
