The Latino Professional Association will celebrate legacy Latino professionals and associations that they continue to build at Building Our Legacy Leadership Reception Oct. 8, 5:30-8:30 p.m. at the Monona Terrace Community and Convention Center.

The Latino Professionals Association (LPA) Annual Reception will gather Latino professionals, business, community, and government leaders to network, recognize, and celebrate achievements, as well as learn how the LPA can further develop career-minded Latino professionals to establish a diverse, skillful workforce to compliment business organizations’ diversity initiatives.

In two short years, the LPA has managed to obtain 140 members, host a variety of networking and professional development events, showcase Latino leadership, and become a community partner in diversity and inclusion efforts. These accomplishments have been made possible through the work of volunteers and the support and generosity of our members and community partners.

Cesar Pinzon, agency sales vice president of American Family Insurance, will be the keynote speaker and LPA President Sandy Morales, Chief Operating Officer of Big Brothers Big Sisters of Dane County, will host the event.
