    p_obamanooseA fan at the Badger game versus Nebraska sparked outrage by wearing a mask of President Obama while another fan, wearing a Donald Trump mask, held a noose around his neck.

    UWPD, UW Athletics and UW administration caused more outrage by not ejecting the fan, citing “free speech.”

    The incident sparked a strong response from local African American leaders.

    It also prompted UW Athletic Director to promise a new policy regarding such conduct at home games, to be in place before the next home game November 12.

    It also caused columnist Gloria Ladson Billings to say, “I’m through.”
