One person was hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries after being shot in the area of Anton Drive and Williamsburg Way in Fitchburg Wednesday evening, a witness tells Madison365.
Dane County dispatch said the calls came in just before 7:30 p.m. Fitchburg Police declined to provide any information.
Members of the Focused Interruption Coalition were on the scene to assist family members and neighbors in the hours after the shooting.
It is not clear whether the shooting was random or targeted.
