Aaron Rodgers announced late Tuesday night that he has been medically cleared to return from his broken collarbone.

On his Instagram account, he said, “It’s been a long road from that day to this, but I’m happy to say I’ve been medically cleared to return. Thanks for all the love, support, prayers, and well wishes over the past 8 weeks ❤️. #riseagain”

Rodgers was playing some of the best football of his career during the first five weeks of the season before breaking his right clavicle from a hit by Vikings linebacker Anthony Barr’s hit early in the Week 6 game at Minnesota.

The 7-6 Packers will face the 9-4 Carolina Panthers in Carolina this Sunday at noon.
