Wisconsin Women in Government’s Speed Mentoring Event

0

Wisconsin Women in Government (WWIG), a statewide, bipartisan, non-profit organization, will host an upcoming speed mentoring event at the Madison Club on Thursday, January 21st.

The event will provide an opportunity for participants to strengthen their professional networking skills. Over the
course of ten rounds, participants will be paired with each mentor for approximately 5 minutes to introduce themselves and discuss their professional goals and experiences. Participants are encouraged to bring business cards to facilitate additional follow up.

This is one of many events hosted each year by WWIG, an organization dedicated to raising funds to support the education of women who enter public service as a career goal. All proceeds from the event will go to WWIG’s scholarship programs.

The celebration will run from 5-7 p.m. The speed mentoring session will begin at 5:35 p.m., followed by a reception at 6:40 p.m. with light appetizers and a cash bar. Although anyone is invited to participate, space is limited to 20 participants and advanced registration is required.
