A 12-5 victory over the Pittsburgh Pirates on Wednesday sent the Milwaukee Brewers to their 12th straight win. More importantly, for many Brewers fans, it activated George Webb’s Restaurant’s long-standing free burger promotion.
On Wednesday, the popular Milwaukee-area restaurant announced it will honor its famous baseball promotion with a free burger giveaway at all of its 23 Wisconsin locations on Wednesday, Aug. 20, 2-6 p.m.
Vouchers will be available starting this Friday for pick up in our locations for those who want to savor the moment and enjoy a delicious George Webb hamburger at a later date.
This is the third time in Brewers history, the Brewers have won 12 straight games.

The 1987 Brewers had a 13-game winning streak to start the year and George Webb’s ended up giving out 168,000 free burgers. The Brewers also won 12 staright games (between the end of the regular season and the playoffs) in 2018 and the restaurant gave out 90,000 free burgers plus 100,000 burger vouchers.
For Madisonians, the closest George Webb’s Restaurant is in Oconomowoc, Wis. on 645 E Wisconsin Ave. It’s about a 50 minute drive.
