Roger Stone, an adviser to the Trump campaign and a longtime Republican operative, was indicted this morning as part of Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation into the Trump campaign’s relationship to Russia.
Stone was charged Friday with seven criminal counts, including obstruction of justice and witness tampering, stemming from his connection to WikiLeaks, the organization that published thousands of hacked Democratic emails prior to the 2016 election.
F.B.I. agents arrested Mr. Stone before dawn on Friday at his home in Fort Lauderdale, Fla.
