Former Wisconsin Badger Bronson Koenig

The Milwaukee Bucks requested waivers on Bronson Koenig, Wisconsin’s all-time three-point field goal leader, on Thursday afternoon. The La Crosse, Wis., native had signed a two-way contract with the club after going undrafted in June.

The undrafted rookie saw action on the Bucks’ NBA Summer League roster in Las Vegas in early July. In five games during the NBA Summer League in Las Vegas, Koenig averaged 5.2 points and 1.0 rebounds per contest.

Koenig played in 148 career games as a Badger with 94 starts. During his senior season at UW, Koenig averaged 14.5 points per game on 41.9 percent shooting from the field (39.3 from three-point range).
