The Wisconsin Badgers on Sunday accepted an invitation to take on the USC Trojans in the Holiday Bowl in San Diego on December 30.
The invitation was not a surprise, as the Holiday Bowl had expressed a “strong desire” for the Badgers (9-3) and their fervent fan base to visit Qualcomm Stadium. The only thing up in the air was the Pac-12 opponent, which was determined when Stanford beat USC (8-5) in the Pac-12 Championship Game on Saturday and the Alamo Bowl invited Oregon to play against TCU.
The Holiday Bowl, which will kick off at 9:30 pm, will be Wisconsin’s 14th consecutive bowl game appearance.
