Republican Presidential candidate Donald Trump will be in Green Bay on Friday for his first campaign stop in Wisconsin since the state’s April primary.

Former Republican candidate Ted Cruz soundly defeated Trump, 48 percent-34 perent, in the Wisconsin presidential primary in April. Brown County voters favored Cruz by 14 percentage points. Trump won in only six of the county’s 111 voting districts during that April primary. All of them were located in the city of Green Bay.

Pundits believe that northeastern Wisconsin will be a political hot spot this election cycle. According to the Wesleyan Media Project, the primary candidates spent more money on political ads in the Green Bay media market than anywhere else in the state except for Milwaukee, which has more stations.

Trump is currently facing bipartisan criticism for engaging in an emotionally charged feud with the bereaved parents of a decorated Army Capt. Humayun Khan, who was killed by a suicide bomber in Iraq.

Details of the Trump visit and where he will hold his rally have not been released yet.
