Earth, Wind & Fire is coming to Madison this March, officials have announced today.
Earth, Wind & Fire is one of the most successful bands of the ’70s with music spanning the genres of R&B, soul, funk, jazz, disco, pop, rock, Latin, and African. Rolling Stone has called them “innovative, precise yet sensual, calculated yet galvanizing” and declared that the band “changed the sound of black pop.” Earth, Wind & Fire has released 23 albums, earning more than 50 gold and platinum albums and selling more than 100 million albums worldwide.
The concert will be March 24 at Overture Hall at the Overture Center for the Arts. Tickets will go on sale this Friday at 11 a.m.
