Centro Hispano Executive Director Karen Menendez Coller

The Green Bay Packers will recognize Centro Hispano Executive Director Karen Menéndez Coller prior to Sunday’s Packers-Bengals game at Lambeau Field as the recipient of the Hispanic Heritage Leadership Award.

For the past four years, Menéndez Coller has served as executive director of Centro Hispano, Dane County’s largest Latino agency and a cultural home to Latinos and other immigrant populations. Centro’s mission is to empower Latinos through quality social, cultural and educational programs.

This is now the 7th year that the NFL and the Hispanic Heritage Foundation (HHF) have partnered for NFL Hispanic Heritage Leadership Awards during the 2017 celebration of Hispanic Heritage Month. This award recognizes the contributions of Hispanic leaders in each NFL market.

Each award recipient will select an organization of their choice that serves the local Hispanic community to receive a $2,000 donation. Menéndez Coller has chosen for the donation to benefit Centro Hispano.

Sunday’s game kicks off at 3:25 p.m. central time.
