A Gun Violence Day of Action will be held Wednesday, June 29, 5 p.m. on the steps of the Madison City/County Building.

Last week, the Democratic sit-in showed that Republican Leadership can no longer ignore the epidemic of gun violence. Together, we can give a voice to the overwhelming majority of Americans who want Congress to take action to help keep our communities safe.

Attendees will include Congressman Mark Pocan; Madison Mayor Paul Soglin; Michael Johnson, president and CEO of Boys and Girls Club of Dane County; Patrick Farabaugh, Our Lives Magazine Publisher; State Representative Terese Berceau; Jackie Millar, gun violence survivor; Moms Demand Action; Wisconsin Anti-Violence Effort (WAVE) and Our Lives Magazine.
