Indigenous Biz Con set for Oct. 13-14 in Milwaukee
Indigenous Biz Con centralizes discussions in Indian Country to explore enterprising opportunities.

The fourth annual Indigenous Biz Con will take place October 13–14 at Potawatomi Hotel & Casino in Milwaukee. Hosted by the Indigenous Business Group, the conference will bring together Native-owned businesses, Tribal leaders, and corporate partners for two days of networking, education, and discussion.

The event will open with a traditional ceremony on Indigenous Peoples’ Day, followed by seminars on Indigenous economies, workforce development, and roundtable conversations with Tribal leadership. Breakout sessions on the second day will focus on topics including marketing, artificial intelligence, real estate, cannabis and hemp, infrastructure, energy, and housing.

The program also includes cultural performances, an artisan marketplace, and the Hoan Bridge lighting ceremony in honor of Indigenous Peoples’ Day. Chris James, president and CEO of the National Center for American Indian Enterprise Development and a Democratic candidate for Congress in Arizona, is scheduled to attend.

Organizers say the event is intended to foster business partnerships, highlight Native entrepreneurship, and promote economic development. More information, including registration and sponsorship details, is available at indigenousbusinessgroup.org.
