Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor declared for the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday night via Instagram.

Taylor wrapped up one of the most successful rushing careers in NCAA history Wednesday in the Badgers’ loss to Oregon in the Rose Bowl. In the second half, Taylor became the second player ever to rush for 2,000 yards in back-to-back seasons.MADISON, Wis. — Wisconsin running back Jonathan Taylor declared for the 2020 NFL Draft on Friday night via Instagram.

During the 2018 and 2019 seasons he also won the Doak Walker Award, the award for the top running back in college football. 

Taylor, known for his abilities on the ground, became more of a threat in the Badgers’ passing game in 2019, catching five touchdowns.

Taylor is expected to be one of the first halfbacks taken in April’s draft, along with Ohio State tailback J.K. Dobbins and Georgia running back DeAndre Swift.
