The Madison Children’s Museum is offering the greater Madison community the opportunity to celebrate Asian American and Pacific Islander Heritage Month and the contributions of Asian American and Pacific Islander people at Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration tonight.

Admission is free from 4-8 p.m. on Thursday for the celebration that will feature Wonderground performances by Swapna Srinivasan–Mukula, Beni Daiko Taiko Ensemble, and Zhong Yi Kung Fu Association’s Lion Dance; plus an AAPI Scavenger Hunt, selfie photo booth, art programs, and food vending from Halo Halo.

Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Month is celebrated during the month of May and recognizes the contributions and influence of Asian Americans and other Pacific Islander Americans to the history, culture, and achievements of the United States.

Support for Asian American & Pacific Islander Heritage Celebration is provided by Dane Arts.

The Madison Children’s Museum is located at 100 N Hamilton St. in downtown Madison.
