The DeForest Police Department said a teenager who was considered missing and possibly endangered has been found.
Police said in a release early Tuesday morning that 13-year-old Be’Yanna Covington had last been seen leaving DeForest Middle School with a friend Monday afternoon, and hadn’t been seen or heard from since. She didn’t have a cellphone and attempts to reach her through close friends were unsuccessful.
DeForest police said at about 8:30 a.m. that Be’Yanna was located and was safe.

DEFOREST, Wis. — The DeForest police department is asking for the public’s help in finding a teenager that is being considered missing and possibly endangered.
13-year-old Be’Yanna Covington was last seen leaving DeForest Middle School with a friend on Monday afternoon, but hasn’t been seen or heard from since. She does not have a cell phone and attempts to reach her through close friends have been unsuccessful.
DeForest police say she has been known to be associated with a man with the first name of “Anthony” or “Antonio,” who is 20 or 21 years old.
Anyone who sees Be’Yanna or knows where she may be is asked to call DeForest police at 846-6756.
