The Tyler Herro basketball camp has opened registration for its fourth annual summer session. The camp will offer kids a chance to meet Herro and experience coaching from the Team Herro EYBL staff.
The camp will be at the OAW Sports Complex at 5330 S Racine Ave., New Berlin, on August 8 for boys and girls ages 8-14. The session for kids ages 8-10 will be from 9 am to 12 pm, and ages 11-14 will be from 1 to 4pm.
The camp will be hosted by former Whitnall standout and current NBA All-Star Tyler Herro. Anyone interested can register here.
Team Herro is offering other opportunities for youth as well. The third annual Tyler Herro golf classic is happening on August 11 at the Wisconsin Country Club in Milwaukee. The proceeds from will support initiatives for at-risk youth in both Milwaukee and South Florida, where Herro stars for the Miami Heat.
Team Herro is also seeking to help equip families with knowledge about the evolving landscape of Name, Image and Likeness (NIL) revenue opportunities in Wisconsin.
Team Herro is collaborating with Showtime Inc., which allows parents access to a masterclass about NIL. Showtime Inc. has helped players negotiate college contracts, managed social media for athletes and helped young athletes build their brands.

From August 2-3, boys are eligible to try out for Team Herro’s non-EYBL travel teams, which will compete in tournaments from April to mid-July next year.
Tryouts are at the OAW Sports Complex in New Berlin. 4th-7th grade boys can try out on August 2, and 8th-11th grade boys can tryout on August 3.
