The 32nd Annual Outdoor Celebration of Juneteenth will be held on Saturday, June 19, in Penn Park. This year’s theme is “Black Resilience: Exemplifying Resistance; Past, Present, and Future.”

Juneteenth is a wonderful opportunity to experience the rich history of Black Americans through various forms of entertainment, lectures, visual presentation, food, and other activities.

The Juneteenth Celebration held every June attracts Madison and Dane County residents from all walks of life each year. It is the mission of those involved in the planning of the Celebration each year to bring Madison’s Black community together to celebrate the riches of our shared history and experiences as well as an avenue for all residents of greater Madison to catch a glimpse of that history and experiences. We are asking you to partner with Kujichagulia to sponsor Madison’s Annual Juneteenth Celebration.
