Madison East High School’s Mariachi Club, Los Moradores de East High, will host a community fundraiser on Saturday, March 7, 5-8 p.m. at the Holtzman Learning Center, 333 Holtzman Rd, in Madison, to support the continued growth and success of its student musicians.
This event will feature an evening of cultural celebration with dinner provided by Garibaldi Mexican Restaurant. Community members are encouraged to come and enjoy live performances by Mariachi Corcel de Madison, Mariachi Los Moradores de East High, Ballet Folklórico de María Díaz, and the East High Atl Drumming Club.
All proceeds from the fundraiser will directly benefit the East High School Mariachi Club and will help pay for mariachi instruction, traditional attire and instruments, ensuring students can continue learning and preserving this important cultural art form.
Through performance and instruction, the Mariachi Club provides students with opportunities to develop musical skills, confidence, and cultural appreciation, while honoring cultural traditions and artistic expression.
