Colin Barushok defeated Adrian Lampron, 51.5%-48.3%, to win the race for Dane County Supervisor for District 1 in a special election, according to unofficial results on Tuesday.
Barushok, the vice chair of the Democratic Party of Dane County, works for a Democratic state senator, is the vice president of Capitol Neighborhoods, Inc. and a member of the Urban League of Greater Madison Young Professionals.
He succeeds Elizabeth Doyle in District 1, who left her position in March because of rent increases.
