UPDATE FRIDAY 9:45 am:
We just booked the rest of our guests for tonight’s show! In addition to the already-scheduled guests — Kaleem Caire, Rafael Ragland and Hedi rudd– we’ll have Juan José “The Notorious” López, one of our 48 Most Powerful Latinos in Wisconsin, in the studio.
We’ll also welcome in two of the strongest voices for people of color in the Fox Valley, Dr. Bola Delano-Oriaran and Dr. Sabrina Robins of Appleton-based African Heritage, to discuss their plans for Black History Month and other things happening in their part of the world.
Madison365 Radio retakes the airwaves on Friday, February 5 from 6 until 8 pm. That’s two solid hours of giving a new voice to Madison.
This week’s show will feature filmmaker and 608TV founder Rafael Ragland; One City Early Learning Center founder and CEO Kaleem Caire; and the Urban League of Greater Madison’s Hedi Rudd, the subject of this week’s 12 on Tuesday. We’ll announce a couple more guests between now and show time, too!
Plus, we’ll talk about Paul Fanlund’s Capital Times column, which includes this:
“Other Madison media began paying oodles more attention to racial topics while seldom crediting the Cap Times for accelerating the conversation.”
We’ll dig into whether we agree that Madison people need to “get over ourselves.” We’d love your thoughts — call in during the show at 608.321.1310.
