Country superstar Luke Combs will perform at Lambeau Field on May 16, 2026, the singer and the Green Bay Packers announced this week.

Tickets go on sale for the public on Oct.17 and the show marks Combs’ first time performing on the frozen tundra.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Luke Combs to Lambeau Field,” said Gabrielle Dow, the Packers vp of marketing in a release. “He’s an incredibly talented artist and favorite of Packers fans and music fans in Wisconsin. We’re looking forward to an unforgettable night at Lambeau Field.”

Combs shared the stage with Tracy Chapman at the 2024 Grammy Awards to perform a duet of Chapman’s “Fast Car”, which Combs had done a cover version of.

Combs also made headlines in 2021 for apologizing for his past use of Confederate flag imagery in photos and a 2015 music video.

“There is no excuse for those images,” Combs said in 2021. “I think as a younger man, those were images that I associated to mean something else. I am now aware of how painful that image can be to someone else. I would never want to be associated with something that brings so much hurt to someone else.”

Combs has, at times, been a lightning rod for controversy. News reports that Combs posted racist comments on Twitter over a decade ago were found to be fake, and Combs has made waves by advocating for country music to expand its base and become more inclusive.

Several years ago, when country star Morgan Wallen was embroiled in controversy for use of the N-word, Combs overtly called out the issue. Combs expressed support for Black Lives Matter and headlined a panel with country star Maren Morris about, among other things, the lack of diversity in country music.

Lambeau Field has played host to some of music’s biggest stars over the year with Billy Joel performing there in 2017 and Paul McCartney performing in 2019.

Combs recently became the highest RIAA-certified country artist ever with 168 million units sold (surpassing Garth Brooks) and is the first country artist with two songs earning a billion streams on Spotify.

“This year has been awesome,” Combs said in a release. “We’ve gotten to play some of the most iconic festivals in the world and promote country music in ways that it normally isn’t.”
