The 39th annual Greater Milwaukee Urban League Black and White Ball will take place on Saturday, Nov. 2, at the newly expanded Baird Center in Milwaukee, the non-profit organization announced on Wednesday night.

This year, the Black and White Ball will also celebrate the 105th anniversary of the founding of the Greater Milwaukee Urban League with the theme “Celebrating 105: Legacy and Impact.”

“Just as we have every year since our doors first opened in 1919, Greater Milwaukee Urban League continues to be at the forefront for economic and social justice,” said GMUL President and CEO Dr. Eve M. Hall in a statement. “The Black and White Ball is our biggest fundraiser of the year, and it helps support our programs in advocacy, education, and employment that impact the lives of Milwaukeeans every day. Together with the GMUL Board of Directors, I am asking companies and individuals to join us for this special event that supports Milwaukeeans who need it the most.”
