Dear Basketball, the Oscar-winning 2015 short film narrated by Kobe Bryant and based on a poem he wrote in The Players Tribune announcing his retirement, is now available free on the DearBasketball.com website.
Bryant died Sunday in a helicopter crash, along with eight others, including his 13-year-old daughter Gianna.
The short film, directed by Glen Keane, features a score by John Williams.
The five-minute, 22-second film was previously only available at animation festivals and other limited engagements. Only a teaser trailer was available on the Dearbasketball.com website.
The film won the Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film along with several other awards.
