The City of Madison is exploring options for a new Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) line from the east side to the west side, and has invited the community to attend a listening session and open house on Tuesday, May 14.
“BRT uses modern stations, larger specialized buses, dedicated lanes where feasible, and other enhancements to provide fast and affordable service to jobs, entertainment, and schools,” according to an email announcement from the City.
A presentation and open house to learn more about route and station location options along the East-West BRT corridor will take place from 6 until 7:30 pm at the Madison Senior Center, 330 West Mifflin Street. Spanish and sign language interpreters will be available.
