Madison native Gabriella Deyi has won the Miss Wisconsin USA contest. Deyi, who competed in front of judges in Fond Du Lac on Sunday, is currently an intern with WKOW news in Madison.
With the win, Deyi will represent Wisconsin in the 2020 Miss USA pageant. Deyi impressed judges in categories such as an interview, swimsuit or athletic wear and an evening gown presentation.

Miss USA and other pageants have been at the forefront of empowering women as well as giving younger girls role models and increasing their self-esteem and image.
