The Harry & Rose Samson Family Jewish Community Center in Whitefish Bay closed and was evacuated Tuesday afternoon following a threat, WISN in Milwaukee reported.
Children at the center’s day care were moved to the Cardinal Stritch University campus, witnesses said.
Also Tuesday, bomb threats have been reported and investigated at Jewish centers in New York, Utah, Colorado, California and New Mexico. Police in Boulder, Colorado described the threat there as a “robo-call.”
As of Tuesday early afternoon, police were still searching the Samson JCC.
