MOSES and EXPO will be hosting a virtual State Senate Candidate Forum on Tuesday, July 28, 6-8 p.m.
Wisconsin’s carceral system has had a devastating impact on Black, Brown, Native, and poor communities in Madison. Nine candidates for State Senate Districts 26 and 16 will discuss their visions for change.
MOSES and EXPO members who have been directly impacted by Wisconsin’s penal system and other community members will be joining this important discussion. Candidates who will be participating include Kelda Roys, Melissa Sargent, Nada Elmikashfi, John Imes, Aisha Moe, William Davis III, Brian Benford, Andrew McKinney, and Amani Latimer Burris.
