The Green Bay Packers have acquired all-pro linebacker Micah Parsons in a trade with the Dallas Cowboys.
The Packers sent longtime defensive tackle Kenny Clark and two first round picks to the Cowboys for the disgruntled Parsons, who was unable to reach a long term contract with the Cowboys.
The Packers reached an agreement on a contract extension with Parsons, signing him to a 4-year, $188 million contract, $120 million of which is fully guaranteed, making him the highest-paid player who’s not a quarterback in history.
Parsons, 26, is a 4-time Pro Bowler and two time All Pro in the NFL. He had 12 sacks last season.
