Madison-based Summit Credit Union will be the presenting sponsor of the first-ever Women’s Leadership Summit, scheduled for June 16 and 17.

The online event will feature dozens of women of color from across Wisconsin discussing important issues from health disparities to entrepreneurship to motherhood in times of crisis. Registration is free and open now at https://www.WisconsinLeadershipSummit.com/WomensLeadershipSummit.

“At Summit Credit Union, we don’t sell products, we build relationships,” the credit union said in a statement. “We’re all about helping you turn wishing and wondering into planning and doing. We have a passion for empowering women to improve their financial wellbeing. Our number one priority is making sure our members get the service they deserve, whether you’re participating in programs like Red SHOES, created to help women gain control and be confident in their financial decisions, investing your money, buying a home, starting or growing your business. We do all of this while remaining dedicated to bettering the communities where we live and work. We also strive to be a place where women are proud and happy to work. We offer plenty of opportunities for career growth, resources and support to help you live a healthy, balanced life at home or at work, and great benefits to support you – and your loved ones, too. Together, we look to find the best ways to help you thrive in your financial life or your career. Visit SummitCreditUnion.com to learn more! “Everything we do requires strong partnerships in the community, and this is no different,” said Henry Sanders, CEO of 365 Media Foundation, the organization that publishes Madison365 and produces the Women’s Leadership Summit. “We are incredibly grateful to Summit Credit Union for signing on as a strong partner to create an unprecedented event for Wisconsin’s women of color, and to make it accessible to all.”
