Vice President Kamala Harris will travel to Madison on Wednesday to discuss the Biden administration’s efforts to promote union job growth and expand apprenticeship programs.

Harris will be joined by Acting Secretary of Labor Julie Su, according to a press release from The White House. This will be the vice president’s second trip to Wisconsin this year and sixth trip to the state since being sworn in.

Last month, Harris kicked off her nationwide “Fight for Reproductive Freedoms” tour with a speech in Waukesha County on Jan. 22 – 51 years to the day that Roe v. Wade was decided.

The state of Wisconsin promises to be a critical swing state in the upcoming presidential election in November.
