A Vigil for Muslim Immigrants & Refugees will be held Sunday, Jan. 29, noon-1 p.m. at the Capitol Square

Gather outside where State Street meets the Capitol Square.

This won’t be a protest, but a silent vigil on behalf of Muslim refugees across the world.

It is also a plea for an immediate lifting of President Trump’s ban on immigrants and refugees from Muslim-majority countries: Iraq, Syria, Iran, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

People of all faiths and of no faith at all are welcome and encouraged to join.

Gather on the steps of the capitol where State Street meets the Capitol Square at noon.
