    A car fire broke out on the corner of Hauk Street and North Marquette Street resulting in an explosion.

    Calls for a white panel van fully engulfed in flames arrived around 2:30 p.m. The vehicle explosion blasted a home on the corner of the 200 block on Hauk Street. The siding of the house was destroyed in the explosion but did not spread into the home. No injuries were reported, according to the Madison Fire Department.
