The 30th annual Souper Bowl, a beloved Madison tradition since 1995, will be held Saturday, Feb. 7, 11 a.m.–2 p.m. at Madison West High School to help build affordable housing throughout Dane County.
Hosted by the UW–Madison student chapter of Habitat for Humanity of Dane County, Souper Bowl has grown into the organization’s largest fundraiser, drawing more than 750 attendees and serving over 200 gallons of soup last year alone.
Guests begin the event by selecting a unique, handmade ceramic bowl from hundreds on display. Each ticket includes a meal featuring soup of choice, salad, bread, and dessert. Attendees can also enjoy lively entertainment throughout the event, including celebrity soup servers, an acapella group, the UW Marching Band, and Bucky Badger, to name a few.
Admission is $25 per meal and bowl or $50 for a family of four, which includes four meals and two handcrafted bowls. A silent auction of artistic bowls by local artists and a raffle will also be featured. Tickets can be purchased at the door or in advance
