The 7th Annual Listen To Your Mother is a one day live staged-reading event giving local writers the opportunity to share their stories of motherhood. The event is Mother’s Day Sunday, May 8th at 3 p.m. at The Barrymore Theatre.
Madison cast includes Katie Auger, Takeyla Benton, Iya Dunni, Rosita González, Vida Groman, Brandice Hatcher, Sarah Jedd, Nuria Vega Moffat, Opal Tomashevska, Amber C. Walker, Michelle N. Watkins, Lisa Estrella Yang, and Madison Poet Laureate Oscar Mireles with LTYM founder Ann Imig as emcee.
LTYM, is an acclaimed series created by founder and native Madisonian Ann Imig in 2010. LTYM is now in 41 cities across North America that will be hosting similar events on or around Mother’s Day, and all 41 shows will be videotaped for LTYM’s YouTube channel .
