What does the future hold for Wisconsin’s schools? We’re going to dig into it at the 365 Leadership Summit on Monday, October 19, at the Center for Black Excellence and Culture in Madison.
Maurice Cheeks will moderate the panel. Cheeks is a civic leader, technology executive, and advocate for Madison’s public schools. He serves as President of the Madison Public Schools Foundation, leading efforts to strengthen schools through philanthropy, advocacy, and community partnership. A former three-term Madison Common Council member, Mo previously served on the MPSF Board and was founding board chair of Schools Make Madison Advocates. His career spans technology, entrepreneurship, education, and mission-driven organizations, including leadership roles at MIOsoft, Wisconsin Technology Council, Filament Games, and Apple. Mo holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Illinois University and lives in Madison with his wife, Melissa, and their two children.
