
The popular Dane County Farmers’ Market will officially begin its outdoor season on Saturday, April 12, and will run each Saturday from 6 a.m.- 1:45 p.m. on the downtown Wisconsin Capitol Square until Nov. 8.
At every market, community members will always find hundreds of local, Wisconsin-produced agricultural products. With over 200 vendors, the Dane County Farmers’ Market (DCFM) is known as the largest producer-only farmers’ market in the nation.
The DCFM will hold its final Late Winter Market this Saturday, April 5, 8 a.m.-noon, at Garver Feed Mill. On July 12, during Art Fair on the Square, the DCFM will be held at Breese Stevens Field.
The DCFM Wednesday Market on the 200 Block of Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. will begin Wednesday, April 23, 8:30 a.m.-1:45 p.m. and continue until Nov. 5.
SNAP/EBT services are provided every market at the Information Booth. From June 1-Oct. 31, SNAP/EBT customers will also be able to participate in the Double Dollars nutrition incentive program. During this time period, customers using SNAP/EBT can receive up to $20 matched dollars every market to spend on fresh fruits and vegetables with Wisconsin farmers.
