Forward Madison FC has signed defender Kevin Carmichael, 23, pending league and federation approval.
Carmichael joins the USL League One club from Huntsville City FC, where he appeared in 21 matches and scored two goals during the 2025 MLS NEXT Pro season. A native of Thousand Oaks, California, he was drafted 50th overall by Nashville SC in the 2024 MLS SuperDraft after a four-year career at UC Berkeley, where he started 52 of 53 matches, scored five goals, and earned All-Pac-12 First Team and All-ACC Second Team honors.
Carmichael developed through Real So Cal Soccer Club, part of LAFC’s youth organization, before playing collegiately for the Golden Bears from 2021 to 2024.
Forward Madison opens its 2026 season on the road in Knoxville next month, with the home opener scheduled for May 16 against Detroit City FC at Breese Stevens Field.
