The Latino Entrepreneurial Network (LEN) is now accepting applications for its fall “Thriving Together” entrepreneurial training program, with cohorts launching this fall in Milwaukee and Racine.
Designed for people with little to no prior business experience, the program offers a nine-session, hybrid curriculum covering the basics of launching and sustaining a small business — from developing a concept and understanding legal requirements to building a marketing strategy and managing a budget. More than 1,500 entrepreneurs have completed the program to date, according to LEN.
The Milwaukee cohort runs Tuesdays, September 8 through November 3 at 3419 W. Forest Home Ave. The Racine cohort runs Thursdays, October 1 through December 3 at 410 Main St. Both programs meet 6–8:30 p.m. and cost $100, which includes all materials and a light meal at each session.
LEN describes the curriculum as culturally responsive and built to prioritize accessibility and inclusivity. The press release was sent in both English and Spanish.
