The seventh-ranked Wisconsin volleyball team earned three of four weekly Big Ten awards following victories over Marquette and Florida.
Senior Mimi Colyer was named Player of the Week, sophomore Charlie Fuerbringer received Setter of the Week, and senior Carter Booth was recognized as Defensive Player of the Week.
The Badgers swept Marquette at Fiserv Forum before defeating No. 15 Florida in four sets at the Kohl Center Classic. Colyer averaged 5.71 kills per set over the two matches, including a season-high 27 against Florida. Fuerbringer recorded 82 assists across the two contests, highlighted by a 50-assist performance against the Gators. Booth contributed 12 blocks during the week, with nine coming in the win over Florida.
Wisconsin opens Big Ten play against Rutgers at the UW Field House on Wednesday at 7 p.m. CT. The match will be streamed on B1G+.
