A reception for filmmaker Stanley Nelson will be held Monday, Feb. 8, 5:30-7 p.m. at the Urban League of Greater Madison, 2222 S. Park St. #200.
This reception will be hosted by the Urban League of Greater Madison and sponsored by the Friends of Wisconsin Public Television. Light food and beverages to be served.
Mr. Nelson’s highly anticipated film, The Black Panthers: Vanguard of the Revolution, will air on WPT in February. Mr. Nelson will be present to introduce clips from the film, speak a little bit about the making of the film, and take questions.
